Outdoor Activities

- Come back to boot camp if you've been hibernating for the winter. We would love to see your smiling sweaty faces again.

- Take a walk around the block & smell all the wonderful springtime blossoms.  The orange blossoms & jasmine are intoxicating right now.

- Plant some lovely flowers for yourself & weed out what needs to go.

- Take your beach cruiser and basket to your local farmers' market to fill up on fresh, in-season produce.  Savor sweet strawberries at their peak.

- Cruise down the beach to Shoreline Village for a nice seafood dinner.  You can pedal away your cares along with a few calories in the lovely ocean breeze.

- Take your bike down to the peninsula for a quiet picnic along the boardwalk.  Find your peaceful space, enjoy your wholesome meal, and recharge.

- Take the dog on a hike to Palos Verdes for a hike at the end of Crenshaw down to the water, or to dog beach at Granada/Ocean.  A tired dog is a good dog.

- Take the kids for some Frisbee fun & smashball. Make a day of it and have a bonfire with some veggie patties & fruit salad down at Bolsa Chica.

- Take a kayak out around Naples or to Jellyfish Cove. The rental boats at horny corner are really stable.

- Take your racket and a few tennis balls to the local courts. Teach your friends how to play.

- Get a game of beach volleyball going.

- Take your rollerblades down to the Queen Mary & back.

- Don't forget to prepare with a plan - take snacks, water, sunblock, and an extra layer.
California weather keeps you guessing, but it really is such a gift. Take advantage.
