Simple ways to make "better than" choices will serve you well. An easy fix for lunch is this BLT Wrap.
BLT Wrap
Serves 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
4 handfuls chopped romaine or green leafy lettuce (~2 cups)
1/2 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half or quarters
2 slices cooked lean or extra lean turkey bacon, chopped or crumbled
2 Tablespoons light ranch dressing (easy homemade recipe below!)
2 whole wheat flour tortillas
Instructions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, croutons, and turkey bacon.
2. Add dressing and toss gently with a large spoon.
3. Divide salad mixture into two and create a heaping line across the tortillas. Roll tightly like a burrito and cut in half. Enjoy immediately.

Light Ranch Dressing
Makes 10 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 cup lowfat or reduced fat buttermilk
1/2 cup light sour cream
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh chives (or 1 teaspoon dried)
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Gently whisk together buttermilk and sour cream.
2. Add chives, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk well to combine.
3. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes to let flavors combine.
4. Serve with vegetable sticks or your favorite salad.
