Long Beach Christmas Parade - Dec. 5th, 2009

Are you available to be in the Long Beach Boot Camp's group for the Christmas Parade on 2nd st (Dec. 5th)?

Please let us know if you will be there and what ideas you have for the parade. Should we dress up as Boot Camp elves? And wear our Red Long Beach Boot Camp shirt, tights and elf or santa hats? We can dress in all red and green. Maybe have big foam dumbells made to say 100lbs? Any thoughts? Anyone have any wagons? Adults and kids are welcome, bring the whole family and come march with us. Anyone have a van or vehicle to carpool in from Shannon's to the Parade? That way we can leave the cars and not fight for parking.

We will be meeting at Shannon's house at 5pm to coordinate outfits and get ready for the parade! If you can't make it then, meet us on Quincy Ave between Ocean Blvd and 2nd. St. Look for the Boot Camp area. You can ask anyone near by to help find us.

Here is the schedule:

4:00pm             Street Closure Begins
5:00pm             Meet at Shannon's House
4:30 - 6:00pm   Parade Participant check in.
6:30pm             All participants must be in staging area
7:00pm             Parade Start
9:00pm             Parade conclusion, participants must
                         disband after passing Ximeno & 2nd St.
