Love Each DayLove is one of those words that we either feel really close to or repulsed by? Am I right? We have such conviction when feeling the gain or loss of love in our lives. We have most likely realized that love is a powerful feeling. For centuries, poets, musicians and singers have written songs about the rise and fall of love. Love will always affect the human mind for centuries to come. When we feel “love” for anything, we have a chemical response to the feeling. We secrete hormones into our blood stream that lift our mood, make us feel lighter, happier, more creative, alert and excited. This same feeling of love can also bring a sense of calm, peace and safety. These chemical reactions help to govern who we are as individuals on a daily and yearly basis. Increasing the amount of love you have in your life will have tremendous positive correlations to how you live and feel each day of your life. There is a story about a man who would treat each day as if it were his last, and if he was doing something that didn’t make him happy for too many days in a row, then he knew that something had to change. Creating a small change can make the biggest difference in the quality of life. Love comes in many forms, walks on the beach, sand in your toes, wind in your hair, singing loudly, playing with a puppy, surfing, running, reading a great book or sharing time with that special someone. Think about something you love. Now think about how to bring that love into your life every day or at least most days of you life.
Each day can be filled with some type of love. Add something that you love into each day of your life. It can be something as simple as sitting down and reading a book for 15 minutes or blasting the radio in the car on the way to work. You will start to notice that more and more of your day will be filled with positive feelings and chemical reactions. You may notice that you love each day a little more than the previous day.
